Hands On Leather makes soft functional handmade quality leather products in a variety of hides. Each item is hand crafted by sisters Cathy & Maralee Greene in their Mendocino County, California workshop. Each piece is hand made from quality leathers of deer hide, moose hide and the traditional oil tan cowhide.

Cathy & Maralee have decades of experience handcrafting leather purses, bags, belts, and other items. The original Nashville Bag was hand sewn by Cathy in 1971. It was originally created for a unique individual who needed a briefcase but did not want to look like a cookie cutter member of the business world. From this satchel / briefcase, Hands on Leather was born.

The newly created Billy Bob Business Betty continues this tradition of a functional purse, briefcase or shoulder bag with personality and originality. These bags are large enough to hold files or a laptop while giving the wearer a stylish accessory durable enough to last for years.

For the less business minded, Hands on Leather produces a line of soft deer hide bags decorated with fringe, beads, buttons, and whatever nature provides. These bags are one of a kind.
